LIVE SESSION — no calls placed, no account needed, all numbers on screen are fictional

How Onyx works

Everything a rep would do between calls, done before you notice the wait.

Six things happen on every dial. None of them are a screenshot — this is the actual system.

Answering-machine detection with automatic voicemail drop

When a machine picks up, Onyx recognises it, plays your pre-recorded voicemail after the beep, and advances. You're already talking to the next person while it finishes — the greeting is recorded once, so it never degrades across a long session the way a live one does.

Local-presence numbers

A call from a familiar area code is answered more often than one from across the country. Onyx matches a number to the region you're calling and rotates automatically.

Live transcription & coaching

The call is transcribed as it happens. When an objection lands, the rebuttal is on screen while the sentence is still hanging — not in a report read next week.

Parallel dialing, with a safety cap

Onyx can ring several lines at once and connect you to whoever answers first. Simultaneous lines are capped on purpose — more than you can answer produces abandoned calls, which are both a bad experience and a regulatory problem.

It runs on the CRM you already have

Onyx is a Chrome extension. It appears over your existing CRM and dials the numbers already on the page — no migration, no second system to keep in sync, nothing for a team to relearn.

Compliance runs before the dial

Calling hours enforced in the called party's timezone. Do-not-call suppression runs before the dial, not after. Non-consent states simply aren't recorded.

Beyond the dial

A coach on every call, and a floor manager who can see all of them.

The dialer gets you through the list. This is what happens once someone actually picks up — and what's still there after you hang up.

Live objection coaching

Say "it's too expensive" and Onyx surfaces the answer from YOUR playbook in real time, matched against your own battlecards and scripts — not a generic default, and not a model guessing at what to say.

Playbooks

A searchable library of openers, objections and closes — paste in a script or upload a PDF/Word doc and it becomes an entry you tag and refine. Edit a rebuttal here and the live coach reaches for YOUR version first, not a generic default.

Call Library & search

Every call is recorded and transcribed, searchable across your whole team's history. Pull up exactly what a top rep said in a similar spot instead of guessing what a script should sound like.

Pipeline & sentiment

Every call is scored on prospect sentiment and the rep's own execution — opening, discovery, objection handling, asking for the next step — so a manager sees where a call went sideways, not just that it did.

Live-listen & warm transfer

A manager can drop into a call in progress to coach silently, and a rep can bring a colleague onto a live call to hand it off properly instead of a cold "let me transfer you" that leaves the prospect on hold.

"It shouldn't feel like software. It should feel like the best rep on the floor never stops working."

— Why we built Onyx Dialer

Machines get the voicemail.
You get the conversations.

No phone system to buy, nothing to migrate. Sign in and it's already dialing on top of the CRM you use today.

Who it is for

Anyone whose job involves getting through a list of numbers. The problem is the same whatever is being sold, because the problem is not the pitch — it is that most of the day is spent on people who never pick up.

Where the day actually goes

A rep working a list spends most of it on outcomes that are not conversations: answering machines, dead numbers, wrong numbers. Every one costs the same fifteen to thirty seconds of listening, deciding and clicking as a real call — and the cost is attention, not just time. The tenth voicemail of the morning is where anyone stops sounding like someone worth calling back.

So the useful question is not how fast a dialer dials. It is how much of the list it gets through without you.

Compliance is not an add-on

Onyx enforces calling hours in the called party's timezone rather than yours — dialing across time zones at 6:30am local is the violation nobody notices until it is a claim. Do-not-call suppression runs before the dial, not after.

Calls into states that require every party's consent to record simply aren't recorded — nothing is captured for a rep to remember to disclose. None of it is a switch a busy user can turn off to dial faster.

Common questions

Does it work with my CRM?

If your CRM runs in a browser and shows phone numbers on the page, yes. Onyx reads the numbers on screen rather than integrating with one vendor's API, so it is not limited to a list of supported systems.

Do I need my own phone system?

No. Calling, numbers and messaging are provisioned with the account.

Can I try it before paying?

The demo above runs entirely in your browser — no account, no calls placed. It shows the same interface reps use.

What happens to my call data?

Recordings, transcripts and dispositions belong to your account and export to CSV whenever you want them.

What is a power dialer, and how is it different from a predictive dialer?

A power dialer moves to the next number the instant one call ends, one line per rep, so the rep never touches the keypad between calls. A predictive dialer rings several numbers per rep ahead of time, betting on an answer rate, which is faster still but risks a real person picking up with no rep free to talk — an abandoned call, and in most states a compliance problem. Onyx runs as a power dialer by default, with an optional capped parallel mode for teams that want some of a predictive dialer's speed without giving up the abandonment safety.

What's the best power dialer for a small team or a solo agent?

For one rep or a small floor, the deciding factor is usually what happens on the roughly 70% of dials that hit an answering machine — a dialer that requires a manual voicemail drop on every one of those calls saves almost no time over calling by hand. Onyx detects the machine and drops a pre-recorded voicemail automatically, without the rep touching anything, which is the actual source of the time saved, not the dial speed itself.

Does Onyx Dialer handle TCPA and do-not-call compliance?

Yes. Calling hours are enforced in the called party's timezone, not the caller's, and do-not-call suppression runs before a number is dialed rather than being flagged afterward in a report. Recording notices are prepended where all-party consent laws require it. None of this is a setting that can be switched off to dial faster.

How much does a power dialer cost?

Onyx starts at $199/month per seat (Starter: 150 dials/day, three local numbers), $349/month for Pro (275 dials/day, live objection coaching, Playbooks), and $549/month for Scale (450 dials/day, manager live-listen, team-wide sentiment trends). Calling, phone numbers and SMS are included — there is no separate phone system to buy. Full current pricing is always at /pricing.
